Privacy Policy

ShipListing ("we", "us") is run by Dhruv C, a sole proprietorship based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect through shiplisting.app, why, and what you can do about it. We aim to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

• Waitlist: your email, and optionally the framework you use and whether you'd pay for early-bird access.
• Makeover requests: your name, email, the app store or other links you send, and any notes you write.
• Screenshot size checker: nothing. Images are checked in your browser and never uploaded to us.
• Technical data: our hosting provider may log IP addresses and request details for security and abuse prevention. We use your IP address briefly to rate-limit form submissions.
• Payments (when enabled): processed by our payment provider acting as Merchant of Record [e.g. Dodo Payments / Polar]. We receive your name, email, country and order details, never your full card number.

Why we use it

• To tell you about the beta, early-bird seats and launch (that's what you signed up for).
• To reply to makeover requests, send quotes, deliver work and provide support.
• To understand demand (e.g. which frameworks people use), in aggregate.
• To prevent spam and abuse, and to meet tax and legal obligations.

We rely on your consent when you submit a form. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that process data on our behalf: website hosting and database (Cloudflare Workers and D1), email delivery [provider], and the payment provider above.
• Authorities, when required by law.

Some of these providers store data outside India (for example in the US or EU).

Cookies and analytics

We don't currently set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or payment cookies later, we'll update this page.

How long we keep it

Waitlist data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is no longer needed. Makeover and order records: as long as needed to deliver the work and meet tax and accounting requirements (generally up to 8 years under Indian law).

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@shiplisting.app. We'll respond within a reasonable time, normally 30 days.

Children

ShipListing is a tool for app developers and isn't intended for anyone under 18.
